The A-Card Stitches are 18 simple 1x1 stitch effect patterns built in to the Light Scanning Selection Box programmers and are achieved as per the settings on the diagrams, next to each stitch effect.

Second Yarn Guide), followed by the setting switches on the front of the Selection Box programmer.

SUPERBA Accessory Instruction Manuals.

• No. 8: Pattern Driver 

• This is SUPERBA's version of a half scale garment charting accessory. Other than the way the unit mounts to the machine it is exactly the same as a PASSAP Forma and the Silver Reed "Knit Radar".

• This accepts pre-printed or hand drawn half-scale patterns for knitting adult and children sweaters, cardigans, skirts, coats and accessories.

• No.9: Garter Lace Transfer Carriage Accessory.




The Garter Lace Transfer Carriage has the ability to transfer stitches between needle beds to help create simple Garter Stitch and more advanced stitch effects using your machine's electronic stitch selection programmer and front bed racking function.

• No.10: Table Top Motor Drive Models.


Superba produced two table-top Motor Drive models, sold as optional accessories for it's knitting machines.



• The first introduced was the SUPERBA EMS3, which lay across the back of the table, mounted to the bottom of the knitting machine and had the motor suspended off the right side of the table or stand. This motor was also sold as the SINGER 1460, and Phildar also had this style of motor.

• The second Motor Drive model introduced was the EMS4, sold also as the SINGER 1480. PHILDAR and WHITE also sold this style of motor.


This updated Motor Drive came as a two-speed Motor for moving the Carriages back and forth across the needle beds automatically, making knitting of large pieces or repetitive movements easy.

• No.11: Points Tricot Fantasy: Double Bed Stitch Book For All SINGER - SUPERBA Double Models Knitting Machines.

A selection of 62 Double Bed Stitches including Knit+Purl textured stitches, Racked stitches, pleats and hand transferred lace. In French but easily decipherable.
